Wholesome even for a King

At last the sun is shining. We had two solid weeks of rain and wind and cold, but now spring seems to have finally sprung. For the last three days we have had the most gorgeous weather.

On Wednesday I left the house in a long sleeve shirt. On Thursday I wore a tank top with a button down over it. But today - ah, today is tee-shirt weather. And not a moment too soon.

Friday, March 20 is the Vernal Equinox, the official start of spring in the northern hemisphere. Last night, in honor of the season, I did a little interior decorating.

We don't have a garden or even a yard, so I thought this was the next best thing.

I leave you today with a quote from Doug Larson, "Spring is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush." Hang in there New Englanders. Yours spring will come.
